Supported PS5 Games
PS5 Games that support the PS4 Speciality Mode workaround
PS5 Games have a whole new encryption that requires a special workaround for Cronus Zen support. This is done with a third-party licensed PS4 controller, or a special PS5 Dongle we had made so you didn't have to deal with the mess of hooking up a second controller.
Error message when PS4 controllers are not supported
Unfortunately, not all games support the PS4 Speciality Mode workaround, and a working game can be patched at any time, so we've put together a chart which is being updated in real-time, so you can see which PS5 games are, or aren't compatible.
If you have tested a game that works or does not work and would like to help keep the chart updated, simply drop us an email at [email protected]
Current Workaround: If the PS5 game you are playing does not support PS4 Speciality mode you can switch to the PS4 version of the game and the Zen and controller will work.

Switching between PS5 and PS4 versions on your PlayStation 5 console

If you own the PS4 and PS5 versions of the same game, here's how to switch between them:
  1. 1.
From the Games Home Screen, go to the Game Library.
  2. 2.
Select the game and press X
  3. 3.
Select the [...] button on the screen to view options.
  4. 4.
Select the version of the game you want to download or play.
Note: If you are unsure of what version of the game you are viewing on this screen:
  • PS4 versions display PS4 beside the game title at the top of the screen.
  • PS5 versions only display the game title.
There is at least one exception that we know of where the physical PS4 disc and PS4 digital download will not boot on a PlayStation 5, and that is Fortnite.
