It is also possible for a Zen Studio install to become corrupted and cause error codes or FAIL errors after programming the Zen. The solution is to delete the CronusZen temporary directory which is located here:
%AppData%\CronusZen
You can navigate to this folder easily in Windows 10 by using the search feature 🔎
Make sure Zen Studio is closed before deleting the CronusZen folder.
Once deleted, you can open Zen Studio again and the CronusZen folder will be recreated once you have successfully connected a Cronus Zen.
Note: In the unlikely event that Zen Studio still fails to program your Zen at this point (i.e. FAILED error message) the Zen has likely developed a fault and should be replaced under its warranty).
