PlayStation 4 consoles require an officially licensed PlayStation 4 controller to authenticate Cronus Zen to a PS4. This is called the 'Auth Controller' and can also be used as the primary gaming controller.
Important Note: Only a wired SONY DUALSHOCK 4 model CUH-ZCT2 (DS4v2) can support headset audio and the built-in DS4 speaker.
Some third-party licensed models with their own custom wireless adapter like the Astro C40 do support wireless Auth and headset without a DS4v2 auth controller. See below for more details.

Many licensed third-party PS4 controllers support Authentication over USB and Bluetooth, and some wireless controllers such as the Astro C40 also support headset. However, if you ever have a PS4 controller that doesn't support Auth or Headset, simply connect an Auth Controller to A1 USB and game with your preferred controller connected to A2 USB.
TBC = To Be Confirmed (Let us know if you have tested this as working or not)
USB = Wired Controller or wireless controller with USB Cable BLUETOOTH = Connects to Cronus Zen via Bluetooth WIRELESS = Custom wireless adapter that comes with the controller
*Minimum Firmware Requirement for Nacon Revolution Pro v3 is 2.0.8
PS4 controllers do not support Headsets over Bluetooth, however you can connect your headset directly to a Pass-Through Auth Controller (A1 USB port). Works fine when connected by USB or supported Wireless Adapter like the Astro C40 or Nacon.
🚫It is essential that your PS4 Controller is completely unpaired from your PS4 console before setting up with Cronus Zen, otherwise the controller will regularly disconnect. You will need a PlayStation 4 Console for this procedure.
This is also useful if you had previously paired your controller to Zen's Bluetooth, but now wish to use a USB cable.
Turn on the PlayStation 4 using its power button (do not power on with the controller)
Connect your PS4 controller directly to the PS4 console using a micro-USB cable and press the PS Button
After a few seconds the light bar on the PlayStation 4 controller will change to solid BLUE, indicating pairing to the console is complete, and the controller is now unpaired from everything else
Go to Settings👉Devices 👉Bluetooth Devices
Select the PS4 Controller you wish to unpair and choose "Disconnect"
Unplug the PS4 controller from the console
Plug in the short (12") micro-USB cable to the back of the Zen (CONSOLE USB port) and connect the other end to your PS4 console. (PlayStation 4 Pro - connect Cronus Zen to the rear USB port)
Connect the PS4 controller to Zen's A3 USB Port with a micro-USB cable
Select the PS4 controller from the devices list again
Press the Options button
Select "Forget Device"
Confirm your selection "OK"
Restart your PS4
Unplug the wired PS4 controller
That's it!😄The PS4 controller is now fully unpaired from all devices and you're ready to set it up with Cronus Zen.
Hold the PS Button for 10 seconds or until the light bar turns off.
